CGIF Whistleblowing Channel

CGIF has established a Whistleblowing Channel to provide employees and stakeholders with a confidential and secure way to report suspected violations of policies, regulations, or unlawful practices. This reflects CGIF’s commitment to integrity, transparency, professionalism, and accountability. 

 

The channel is independently managed by the Asian Development Bank’s Office of Professional Ethics and Conduct (ADB OPEC), whose expertise ensures effective and credible handling of sensitive issues. 

 

All reports are treated with strict confidentiality and impartiality. By using this channel, you help to safeguard professionalism and accountability within CGIF.

What information should I provide to ADB OPEC?

To facilitate a thorough assessment and investigation, please provide the following information.

What happens to my report?

ADB OPEC will review all reports against the following complaints assessment criteria to determine whether further action is warranted:

Mandate

Report should relate to activities CGIF is authorized to investigate.

Credibility

There should be a reasonable possibility that a violation occurred.

Verifiability

Evidence is available or obtainable to assess the allegation.

Materiality

Matter is of sufficient importance to justify investigation.

Other Factors

ADB OPEC may close or refer the case to CGIF with the consideration of other factors.

Your Rights

  • Confidentiality – Your identity and information remains private.

  • Report in good faith – False or malicious reports will be addressed as required.
